That is, of course, if you want to leave a good impression in the places you go, but if you wanna do backpacking (not the kind of tourists we like there), you'll spend much less, even tough I hardly would think less than 15 hundred each of you. So, save money, and once there, have a good time (and don't forget to tip as you do here) well, two people (sharing room I guess), traveling two months, different countries (which means traveling air and land), and also some tours, I would say between two to three thousand dollars each (doesn’t include getting there).
