Try to find the youth hostels for economy and pack carefully. How to handle money situations and language (Unless you already speak Spanish) will be your biggest challenges. Don't take anything you don't want to lose cause odds are high that you will have a problem keeping your property intact. If you're driving, you will have a whole different set of circumstances.
