I recently returned from a similar,but somewhat shorter trip with my adult daughter.We budgeted $50 US a day ‘each’ for public transportation (taxis buses) a ‘shared’ hotel room,meals and snacks,entertainment admissions(museums,movies) etc. It ‘did not’ include our round trip air fare from, and back to, the U.S. or any permit/visa/departure fees we encountered….We never exceded our budget.
