My fiance and I had some places (out of the country) in mind to travel during January, but all the places we picked do not have such pleasant weather during January…. soooooo, where are some good places to go in South America during January? Or where are some other places to travel with good weather besides Australia and Cape Town?…. If there aren’t many places out the country, what about in the US (besides Florida, and Cali)?? Thank everyone who answered!!

I would like to travel in boat from middle east to south america with my family, where can I find some options?
what is the best country(or two)to visit in South America in the Summer. And what are some attraction/cities to visit there.
i’m talking about a the summer like July.. and no its not a school assignment I’m actually asking for traveling purposes I really want to know people’s opinions
Is it a real wilderness experience? Accomodation and transport? Things to see? Anywhere else you would recommend for adventure and exploration?
For example I am going to travel to Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. According to the culture what kind of clothes is expected in a woman in her twenties. Should I wear something sexy or a corservative style?
i am looking for personal experiences (yours or those of someone you know) of people that travelled across south america. where did you go, how did you get there, how much did it cost overall, how much time, how did you get around between countries, visas, problems, any advice?
did you plan the details when you started or did you just drift around and get by? importantly, did you go alone?
also, are there any women that did this and can share their experiences?

I intend to travel(backpack) to a few countries in South America, Buenos Aires being my first port of entry into SAmerica. Is there any airline programme i can take in order to save sum $? Should be entering Buenos Aires with an airline which doesnt belong to any alliance.
I’ve heard/read that most of Panama and Nicaragua are infested with guerrillas. I’m up for adventure (I want to circumnavigate most of South America) but I don’t want to die!! Can it be done safely? I’m looking for the cheapest way to South America…and flying ain’t cheap.
I’m looking to go for about 10 days in January or February. I like to travel cheap, to backpack and meet people. A nice beach like Rio would be great, but I’m really looking for a memorable experience…not necessarily a relaxing vacation. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I want to go to South America, but I didn’t know if a person could buy a car (if roads were good), fly directly there, or find a boat or cruise that went there, drive there, etc. Any information would help me.
